Summer - Summer Solstice

In the United States, summer starts on June 21st and runs till September 20th. In the summer, temperature increases to the hottest of the year causing trouble not only for people but the animals and plants as well. In the US, the northern states experience warm to hot days and cooler mornings and nights whereas the southern states experience very hot climate.

The summer solstice usually lies on June 20th or 21st which is the start of summer season in the US. Independence Day of the US i.e. July 4th falls during summer. Apart from it Shavuot, Assumption Of Mary and Victory Day are also celebrated in the summer season.
